Salt and Pepper Tofu

  1. Ingredients
    1. Tofu
    2. Olive oil
    3. Salt
    4. Pepper
    5. Lemon (optional)

    1. First prep the tofu by cutting it into small cubes. Once this is done, turn the stove onto medium heat.  Lightly baste the pan with olive oil. Wait for the oil to heat up. Once the oil begins to sizzle, lightly put in the tofu (be careful that the oil doesn’t hit your skin!). After a few seconds, lightly salt and pepper the tofu. By salting it before, I personally feel like the flavor sits better. Push the tofu around for a little while until it begins to evenly brown. If you want, put lemon to taste! Take it out and enjoy!
