New Math and Writing Center Provides On-Campus Academic Support

Discover de Toledo High School’s new Writing and Math Center in Room 301.
The Center is a resource available to all deToledo students during select hours. Writing and Math instructors are also available by appointment for one-on-one coaching. The Math Center is open Mondays through Thursday from 12:30 pm-4:15 pm for homework help, test review, or math assistance.
Writing Center walk-in hours are available Monday through Thursday:
Mondays 10- 10:45, 12:00-1:30, 3-4:30
Tuesdays 10-10:45
Wednesdays 12-1:30
Thursdays 10-10:30, 12-1:30
“The purpose of the Writing Center is to offer writing support, essay assistance and creative writing help to students,” according to Writing Center coach Bobby Lebeda.
A walk-in appointment is designed to help students recognize areas of improvement in their work and to gain resources and another pair of eyes to continue the writing process, Lebeda says. After a walk-in session, if students want more one-on-one time to work on an assignment, they can set up a 30-minute appointment.
