Girls Varsity Volleyball Wins the Independence League and Wild Card Playoff

The Jaguars topped the standings of the Independence League going 9-1 in league play to lock up a spot in the CIF Southern Section Division 8 Playoffs. de Toledo will start the playoffs with a Wild Card match against Hillcrest Christian (Thousand Oaks), who finished fifth in the Omega League with a 9-7 overall record (8-7 league). The Jaguars marked a stellar set margin in league play, winning 29 out of 33 sets against Independence League competition.
The opening Wild Card match will be held at the dTHS Gymnasium at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 16. The team that advances out of the Wild Card will play Faith Baptist in the First Round.
