Creamy Breakfast Smoothie

Ingredients:

  1. Peanut butter powder
  2. 1 banana
  3. About 6 frozen strawberries
  4. Frozen blueberries
  5. A big handful of spinach
  6. Cashew milk

Instructions:

Begin by setting up your blender. I recommend not plugging it in until you are ready to blend. This way, you do not accidently turn it on without knowing and without the blender top being on. Dump one large spoonful of peanut butter into the empty blender, followed by one ripe banana. The more ripe the banana, the more rich the smoothie. Follow this by adding in around seven frozen strawberries and a handful of frozen blueberries. The amount of strawberries and blueberries you add in is subject to change depending on if you want your smoothie to taste more like one or the other.

Next, throw in a large handful of spinach. Although it will look like a lot, you can barely even taste it once it is blended.

Finish off the smoothie by adding in cashew milk. I have made a lot of smoothies with a lot of different dairy free milk, and cashew milk is by far my favorite. It gives the smoothie this creamy texture and taste that other dairy free milks don’t. Add enough milk so that the majority of your dry smoothie ingredients are covered. I recommend starting with less and adding in more if your smoothie needs it. I personally like my smoothies thick, so I always begin with less.

Blend and enjoy! You can also garnish the smoothie with chia seeds or hemp hearts to make it have more of a bite and be more filling. However, I personally don’t always like the texture of chia seeds or hemp hearts in my drinks.
