Most people are feeling all sorts of joy with the recent presidential election results. However, I feel differently. I believe that it’s not fair that only 100 years ago women were given the right to vote, and now, this many years later, we are finally having a woman as a vice president. Not even the president. That simply does not seem fair to me. I mean, yes, this is a step toward more equality in high national leadership, but we need more than this. I know that so many people around today still have biases toward women, so we need to work together as a community to continue electing people like Kamala Harris to high positions of power. I do believe, though, that this is a step toward a greater improvement.
