Jacob Cox(’26) is a Staff Writer for the dTHS Prowler. He is a Senior who loves being part of de Toledo High School’s community. Cox has a podcast with his fellow staff writers that covers the school sports throughout the week called “dTHS Top Plays“. He is the captain of the varsity basketball and volleyball teams, which keeps him busy both on and off the court. In his free time he enjoys to spend tiime watching movies and being with family or friends. He is excited to share stories that cover student life and school spirit this year.
The first-ever de Toledo Athlete of the week goes to starting Sophomore Outside Hitter Sammie S. (’28)!
This week, Sammie had 39 kills with a .560 hitting percentage over 3 games. Over that span, the team went 2-1, beating the International School of LA and Yula. Sammie S. played a large role in the team’s wins and has been a critical player in her first two years on the team.
