Summer Trip to Uruguay Strengthens Ties to Global Jewish World
MONTEVIDEO, Uruguay – de Toledo students traveled to South America in July for a three-week exchange program with Jewish partner school Escuela Integral in Montevideo, Uruguay, including visits to Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Iguazu Falls.
The trip, according to Lior Sibony, Associate Director of Global Jewish Education, contributed to “deepening our connection with our partner community in South America, and strengthening our understanding of the Global Jewish World and the important Jewish principle of Arevut Hadadit, mutual responsibility.”
Application deadline for the 2020 Uruguay Exhange Program is Friday, Nov. 1, 2019.
