KADYN:
The day was May 17 at Dodger Stadium. For sophomore Evan K.’s birthday, he invited me, Owen K. ‘26, Alec W. ‘26, Ryder H. ‘26, and his friend Asher to the Dodgers vs Reds game.
This game was exhilarating and fun to watch. Watching games on the TV cannot compare to the feeling of watching it live.
I got two Dodger dogs and garlic parmesan fries, and, while watching, I was eating peanuts with Owen.
The game started, and I got to see a Mookie Betts leadoff homerun in the first inning for the Dodgers. Mookie has been having an amazing year. Shortly after that I saw a Shohei Ohtani homerun. Owen and I got really hyped up over this, while the people who didn’t really understand baseball were confused.
This was a very exciting game to see with an exciting team, even though I am a Padres fan. Happy birthday Evan!!
OWEN:
It was my friend, Evan K. ‘s, birthday. He wanted to celebrate, so we went to a Dodger game. The Dodgers played the Reds and we got to see the most athletic player, Elly de la Cruz, play; unfortunately, he went 0-4. The game started off with a bang: first inning Mookie Betts smashed a dinger over the fence.
Elan, Evan’s dad, got us all hotdogs and peanuts. I would give the hotdogs a 7/10 and the peanuts a 10/10.
The Dodgers kept a steady lead all game with home runs from players like Shohei Ohtani. It was so hype. After the Dodgers won 7-3 there were fireworks. This was really fun to experience with my friends.
