As a teenager with an extremely fast metabolism, I find it extremely hard to gain weight. I decided to go on an adventure to see what helps me gain weight. 

The main thing about gaining weight is to eat healthy foods with protein. However, many people decide to “dirt bulk.” Dirty bulking is when a person only eats very unhealthy fatty foods. These foods consist of McDonalds and a bunch of fast food. This may work, but this can cause a problem in the future. Many people who were dirty bulking reported that they got diseases in the future: cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and some cancers. 

As I continued to look online about gaining weight, I found many food programs to help. However, none of them worked with my schedule, so I decided to continue to look. I found out you just need a lot of protein. This could consist of eggs, beef, chicken, pasta, and different kinds of fish. 

The hardest part is always taking the extra bite of food when you’re full.

Also, after really reading deeply into this subject, I found you need a really strict plan. Having a good and strict diet is as important as working out. So, if you’re just like me and have a fast metabolism, remember protein is the best thing.
