Week one of NFL football is over and this is what we learned.
Winners Of Week 1
First off the Kansas City Chiefs are back after an impressive performance by new star running back Kennith Walker rushing for 173 yards and 2 touchdowns and Patrick Mahomes with a pretty smooth start coming off of an ACL injury he sustained last season. With the incredible defence the Chiefs lead to a victory versus the Broncos 31-10.
The New York Giants looked great week one versus the Cowboys with a 28-20 win. The Giants QB looked phenomenal with throwing for 230 yds 23/29 on completions and 3 passing touchdowns.
Another star of the show was new TE Isaiah Likely from the Ravens had 78 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns. The running game was solid lead by running back Cam Skattebo.
The Chicago Bears were big winners in week one scoring a historic 59 points and completely dominating the Panthers. Almost everyone on the Bears ate QB Caleb Williams throwing 269 yds and scoring 4 touchdowns and almost everyone on the offense getting involved. The defense did look a little bit sluggish though but should look better in the coming weeks.
A surprising winner of the week is the New York Jets with a solid looking defense holding the titans to 10 points. On the offensive side some of their weapons like Garrett WIlson and Breece Hall had really good games Wilson getting 79 receiving yds and Hall getting 102 rushing yds and 1 td. The Jets ended up winning 23-10.
The San Francisco 49ers had an amazing showing versus the Rams in Melbourne, Australia. The whole offense looked amazing led by QB Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey. Defense looked great led by Fred Warner holding the Rams to 7 Points on the day. Winning the game by 20 and scoring 27.
The last winner of week one is the Minnesota Vikings with a great win over the Packers 39-22. Of course Brian Flores’ defense was incredible like normal. At first on offense Kyler Murray went down with a concussion but backup QB Carson Wentz, legendary journeyman, came into the game and saved the day. Justin Jefferson got a pair of touchdowns running plays that looked good and overall led to a great win.
Losers Of Week 1
The first loser is the Denver Broncos with scoring only 10 points in their first game they looked terrible QB Bo Nix only throwing for 130 yards with 1 td and one int & the running backs and we could not get anything going. The defense gave up 31 points just an all around terrible week.
The Carolina Panthers were another big loser after giving up a historic 59 points to the Bears. Their defense could not stop Caleb Williams or Chicago’s other offensive weapons. The Panthers’ offense also struggled to keep up, making it a terrible start to the season.
The Los Angeles Rams had a rough game against the 49ers in Melbourne. Their offense scored only 7 points and could not get anything going against San Francisco’s defense. The Rams’ defense also struggled to contain Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey in the 27–7 loss.
The Tennessee Titans were disappointing in their 23–10 loss to the Jets. Their offense struggled to move the ball and failed to take advantage of scoring opportunities. Even though their defense made some good plays, the Titans did not do enough to stay competitive.
The Green Bay Packers had a difficult opening week, giving up 39 points to the Vikings. Their defense could not slow down Minnesota’s offense, even after starting quarterback Kyler Murray left the game. Losing 39–22 to a division rival was a very disappointing way to begin the season.
The Dallas Cowboys also belong on the loser list after falling 28–20 to the Giants. Their defense allowed three passing touchdowns, while the offense could not complete a comeback. Losing to a division rival at home made the defeat even worse.

Simon Lebovitz said the Ravens are the biggest winners and the Broncos are the biggest losers of week 1.
Matthew Wernecke said the Saints are the biggest winner and the Rams are the biggest loser.
Elias Binder said the Texans are the biggest winners and the Chargers were the biggest losers.
