Since the 1950s watching Sitcoms have had a huge role in many people’s daily lives. This week I interviewed dTHS student Sasha L. (’30) about her favorite.
What’s your favorite sitcom?
Her favorite sitcom is the slapstick, mockumentary style show, Modern Family, which ran for 11 seasons from 2009-2020. The show follows a large highly dysfunctional family and has over the years gained a colossal fan base.
Why Modern Family?
“The show feels real, the characters have flaws, and the humor is up-lifting. When I am feeling down it gives me a good laugh.” The joyful Modern Family might just be the perfect 20 minute laugh to brighten up your day.
